Getting to Le Havre port

Le Havre ferry port is a multipurpose commercial port at the mouth of the River Seine and is the second largest ferry port in France. Close to the Pont du Normandie it has direct motorway links to many big cities.

By car

The terminal is close to the city centre of Le Havre and you should follow signs for 'Terminal de Citadelle' and 'Ferries'. The A131 takes you east out of the city to join the A13 that goes direct to Paris, less than 200km away. The A29 takes you north towards Amiens. Crossing the toll bridge Pont du Normandie takes you down into Normandy, passing close to Honfleur.

By taxi

Taxis are available at the terminal.

By train

Just a few minutes' walk from the ferry terminal is Le Havre SNCF train station. There is also a shuttle bus between the ferry terminal and the train station. Regional trains depart from Le Havre as well as a regular service to Paris that takes just over 2 hours.

By bus

As well as the shuttle bus to the train station, there are bus stops near the entrance of the port. Buses marked 'Centre Ville' will take you into the town centre, around 10 minutes away.
